Go Eagles!Summit Christian Academy proudly offers a comprehensive
athletic program designed to supplement our academic program. We recognize that
God has gifted students in a variety of ways, including abilities in athletics.
Our athletic programs provide an opportunity for
these students to develop and use their God-given abilities. A Letter from the Athletic Director
On behalf of the coaches, staff, and student-athletes, welcome to the Summit Christian Academy Department of Athletics. The pulse of Summit Athletics is felt in our student-athletes. They gain strength from the leadership of our coaches and the support of our fans. I warmly welcome you to become a part of our growing tradition of excellence in athletics by taking a deeper look into Summit Christian Academy. I am proud of the accomplishments of all of our student-athletes. We had our first scholarship athlete last year and look forward to many more in the future. This year is our first year in the OSSAA, and we look forward to the challenges presented to us by participating against public schools. The OSSAA opens doors for us to compete at a higher level and also offers our kids the ability to become state champions. This year we participated in our first OSSAA Regional Volleyball Tournament, where we finished second. We also look forward to the addition of boys and girls soccer this spring, as well as elementary soccer. The success of our student-athletes is also prevalent in the classroom. Our girls’ basketball team last year boasted a combined 3.5 G.P.A. We hope to better that this year. The continued excellence of all of our student-athletes both on the field and in the classroom is expressed in our athletic motto: “Better Every Day.” Our goal is to provide a better experience for our student-athletes and to help develop and accelerate their God-given ability while we give Him all the glory.
